Closed bars and clubs as well as keeping distance has become our normality within the past year and therefore random encounters or conversations – especially with strangers are almost non existent. To follow this longing, one can walk through the streets with this portable device and trigger unplanned encounters – a strong light flashes at one in a chosen shape as soon as two people are sensed at a specific distance. One is united by or without choice – the day to day life is paused for a second – and shares an experience that is so short, that the only confirmation for this encounter is the afterimage one has, of which one can only assure themselves if they talk to others and share what they have seen, experienced and thought.
